The professional Indemnity provides cover for any member of the public who holds him/ herself out to be a licensed professional in his/her field and on whose opinion the public rely on and may become legally liable to pay compensation arising from any negligent acts, errors or omissions occurring during the period of insurance specified as a direct result of the professional conduct of their business, by the assured or any partner or any person employed by the assured.
Any detriment or loss the client sustains is recoverable from the professional indemnity cover, which would take over those demands, rather than pay from his/ her own resources.
